Riding the Trod is a 25mile ride on horseback from Strata Florida to Abbey Cwmhir along the medieval trackway ‘The Monks’ Trod’. Riding the Trod aims to recreate past journeys in a bid to better understand the archaeology of the Trod and the relationships between humans, animals and this enigmatic landscape.
